This online self-assessment tool provides the questions and tests for each sub-control.   The person completing the assessment has five responsibilities.  They must determine if the control is “In Place.”  After responding, they enter a “Not Applicable” determination, upload evidence, and enter observations made during the evaluation.  It also allows the selection of compliance with compensating control or remediation.  This assessment supports all merchant levels, service providers, and DESV organizations.  Upon submitting the assessment, the Servadus team will review the evidence and determine compliance before preparing a report on the gaps in readiness for the PCI DSS v4.0 changes and arranging a time to present the findings and comments.

In 2022 the PCI Security Standard Council (SSC) released version 4 of the PCI DSS.
